Negril's Famous Beaches are the location of 3 Sandals Hotels, 4 in the SuperClubs/Couples Group (soon to be 5), 2 Riu Hotels and many more, as well as rental villas and cottages, and private villas.

Recent nearby developments include the opening of Kool Runnings Water Park, 2 miles from

Firefly and the progressing shopping centre half a mile away opposite Tree House hotel.

Commmunications

Airlines.

From USA, Canada, Gt. Britain, Continental Europe and other Caribbean countries are direct flights. Also there are easy connections worldwide via Miami, London, Los Angeles, New York etc.

Buses and taxis.

There are no buses in Negril working to a timetable, but there are regular buses to and from

Montego Bay (usually ‘tourist' buses) and Savanna la Mar, Mandeville, Kingston, Spanish Town etc, (mini buses, often crowded).

Many people travel by taxis if they do not own a car.

Wired and wireless services and internet are widespread. Cable internet is coming. Cable television offers about 50 channels.

The Sunday Times. The island is rare in the Caribbean in having its own secure water supply, hilly and wild interior and sunny beaches, making it arguably more beautiful than places such as the

Bahamas.

Luxury Living. Jamaica is often deemed the Caribbean's most beautiful country for its intricate geography, ideal climate, kind-hearted people and now hot new real estate.

Palmyra near Montego Bay and Goldeneye at Oracabessa on the north coast are being developed. There is no comparison to Firefly Villa for real value for money and location.
